Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs (Tech Hubs)

The Tech Hubs plan is an economic advancement initiative to travel technology- and innovation-centric expansion that leverages existing R&D strengths and engineering demonstration and deployment capacities (public and non-public) inside a location to catalyze the generation of fantastic positions for American personnel at all ability levels equitably and inclusively.

The Tech Hubs program was enacted as aspect of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 (as the Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs plan), and Congress appropriated EDA $500 million for it as portion of the FY 2023 Omnibus Appropriations Monthly bill.
