Energy company breaches advertising code by saying natural gas is better for the environment

Power business ATCO has breached the AANA Environmental Statements Code by creating deceptive and misleading promises on a flyer dispersed to homes in Perth advertising and marketing pure gasoline.

The flyer stated that pure fuel is superior for the ecosystem and provides “70% fewer greenhouse gas”.

The grievance submitted to Ad Requirements said:
